Christmas sorting and loveliness!!

I get soooooooo excited for CHRISTmas, really, it's probably not normal.. First, it's celebrating the birth of our Lord and savoir and second, it is such an amazing time of year where the world seems to really be different. Maybe my eyes are still child like but that's how it feels to me anyways.. I decided this year would be a more crafty year.. Clap claps.. I am a stay at home mom now and I really want to get more involved with doing fun stuff and actually have a part in most things in my home. I am going to make my own wreath and homemade yummy gifts thanks to some really awesome blogs that I stumbled upon while looking for something completely off the subject of holiday crafts, actually i was looking for a tutorial for upcycled t-shirt scarf/necklace, anyways, here are some really amazing and talent filled blogs that i ran across. First birthday party fun!

It is time to start planning my son's first birthday party, excited and really sad at the same time! I can not believe he is going to be one already. When people say to "enjoy every moment of it, because it goes by so fast" listen to them, this is a very true statement. i thought that this part of parenting is what i always dreaded but it is actually turning out to be very fun! I have a few ideas for the party, a few to many really, that are hopefully going to be great! Searching the web and others blogs has really been inspiring. Cabbage smothered with sausage

I love smothered cabbage It is so yummy. I know a lot of people that just turn down even the idea of eating it kind of like brussel sprouts(which I do love) . The comments suggest eating it with rice or as a main dish, but that is something that I would not do, but do as you please.

Happy Valentines Day!

A little late with posting my valentine's day greeting but I have been tending to a sick little one! I decided to make a few homeade goodies this year. I made homemade oreos and donut muffins and put them in pretty little packages with handmade tags! I was pretty proud of myself since I have been crafty challenged for all my life!

This was in a post from etsy this morning! This is truly amazing and I am in love! My baby would love to play on this and, well, I would like to look at it! There is one problem, it's $2000. I think there was a lot of work put into this piece and it is just amazing but I would never let my little cheeto on this! I am not sure if this was intended to be a toy or decoration???
